For catering in any of our venues, please review our Food Policy here.

All caterers must submit the following at least seven days prior to the event to be on campus:

Proof of a minimum of $1 million liability insurance naming “UC Regents” as additionally insured.  Any insurance company can be used.
A copy of the current business license.
A copy of the recent health inspection report.
A copy of workers compensation if employees are working on campus.
A copy of auto insurance if driving onto campus.

If you are planning on having a Zero Waste event, please make sure your catering adheres to these guidelines.  Additionally, here is a guide developed by the UC Berkeley Food Institute that is designed to help students plan events that are sustainable, healthy, and equitable.  Per the Food and Beverage Choices Policy, nutritious and sustainable food and beverage options should be included in University sponsored events.  For more information, see the Healthy Meeting and Event Guide.
